Friday, March 26, 2021 An online meeting was held at the International Educational, Scientific and Innovative Research Center “University 3.0” of the Tashkent State Economic University (TSUE) and the Indonesian University of Education (UPI) to create a double degree program (2 + 2). Among the honored guests are the rector of the TSEP Professor Sharipov Kungratbay Avezimbetovich and the vice-rector for international cooperation of the TSEP Dilshod Rakhmonov, the director of the University 3.0 Kurbanov Khairulla, the head of the International Joint Educational Program Bakhtiyor Nasimov, the head of the Corporate Economics and Business Analyst department of Professors Karlibaeva and Raya and others. Rector of TSUE Sharipov Kungratbai Avezimbetovich made an opening speech. This was followed by a discussion on the establishment of a double degree program at both universities. Since TSUE specializes in the economic field, the economic training programs are selected for a long-term partnership. In addition, training courses in management, economics and Islamic finance have been allocated for a possible dual degree program. For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, a branch of a local university will be created at a foreign university. The advantages of this program are that local students can study 3rd and 4th year bachelor’s degree in Indonesia, just like foreign students from Indonesia complete their bachelor’s degree at TSUE. The 2 + 2 program will start in September 2021 in the new academic year.
